Technical innovation in combination with artistic freedom resulted in locks that were not only fascinating but also visually stunning. The locks and keys from the Schell Collection were the stars of the Technical Museum in Vienna for nine impressive months. The three main locking systems – the sliding bolt lock, the falling bolt lock and the rotating lock – were presented as well as various master and apprentice pieces.
The exhibition ran from April 1st to December 31st, 2005.
